One of our dedicated directors and co-founders, Mr. John Sengendo, has been leading and managing sustainability projects at Sustainable and Greener World (SGW). He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Kaplan Business School , West Perth, Australia
We are happy to officially welcome Mr. Isaac Obua as our new 'Sustainability Engineer'. Isaac, working in tandem with other SGW's engineers, will execute advanced engineering projects involving use of artificial intelligence (AI), smartphone applications development, and hardware design/development to solve major sustainability challenges in Uganda and the world, at large. Welcome aboard, Isaac!
Sustainable and Greener World (SGW) launched the 'PedalWASH Project'. Our engineers innovated a low-cost, mobile, duo, and pedal-operated (touchless) handwasher model. These handwashers were donated and deployed, in 2021, in three (3) health centers in rural, disadvantaged Ugandan districts, including Luwero and Nakaseke. SGW aims to contribute towards the achievement of mainly three of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Uganda, including SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequality)
